Last week, I stood in front of a room packed with journalists, publishers, and media professionals—people who have built entire careers with words. I could see it immediately in their eyes: raw, unfiltered fear. The kind that comes when you believe everything you’ve built might suddenly become irrelevant.
But fear wasn’t the only thing I saw. Beneath the anxiety was unmistakable curiosity. A glimmer of hope. A desperate need to understand what’s coming and how they fit into it.
Because here’s the uncomfortable truth: the AI revolution is coming whether we’re ready or not. The question isn’t if but how we’ll adapt.
The Moment Everything Changed
After my presentation, a 78-year-old publisher approached me. Her eyes were welling with tears as she spoke.
