Initial Consultation

Baucom Behavioral offers free initial consultations to determine if the needs of the family can be met by the services offered by Baucom Behavioral.

Thorough, quality assessment is the basis of all effective interventions and treatment plans.  Assessment is a key component in identifying new skills to teach and strategies for teaching those skills.  A variety of assessments are offered to support development of effective, efficient, individualized interventions and treatment plans.

Parent Training

Parents are integral to the success of a child’s treatment plan.  Parent training is family and routine-based, supporting development of appropriate treatment plans that meet the needs of the family and the child.  Based on the principles of behavior analysis, training is offered to support acquisition, generalization, and maintenance functional academic, behavioral, language, adaptive, and social skills.

Professional Training

Young children with special needs and their families come in contact with countless service providers:  early childhood intervention (ECI) providers, daycare workers, preschool teachers, physical therapists (PTs), occupational therapists (OTs), special education teachers, general education teachers, speech-language pathologists (SLPs), music therapists, behavior analysts (BCBAs).  Baucom Behavioral offers training to professionals to support them in providing consistent, high-quality services to the children and families they serve.
