Horse Boy Foundation

The Horse Boy Foundation offers free, weekly horseback riding sessions to individuals of all ages at the New Trails Center in Elgin.  Scholarships are available for horseback riding camps serving children with autism ages 10 and under.

 

Hurley Piano

Hurley Piano provides classical piano lessons to children with special needs in south and southwest Austin.  Piano lessons take place in the child’s home.

 

Legacy of Hope 2dance2dream

2dance2dream is a dance program for children with special needs offered by Legacy of Hope, a non-profit foundation serving families in the Austin area.  Legacy of Hope covers full scholarships, recital fees, and costume costs for families of the 2dance2dream program.

 

Morgan’s Wonderland

Morgan’s Wonderland is an accessible amusement park in northeast San Antonio.  Individuals with special needs receive free admission to the park.

 

Ms. Cathy Swim Austin

Ms. Cathy provides swim lessons for children ages 11 months and older.  Swim programs include 8 lessons lasting 30 minutes each scheduled for Monday through Thursday across 2 consecutive weeks.  Swim programs are focused on safety including teaching children to swim to the side of the pool and climb out of the pool.

 

One World Karate

One World Karate offers a variety of martial arts programs for individuals with and without special needs ages 3 and older.

 

Play for All Abilities Park

The Play for All Abilities Park is an accessible park in Round Rock open from 6am-12am daily.  The park includes areas called “pods” that are suited to develop specific skills for children.

Town & Country Optimist Club Miracle League

The Miracle League is a baseball league for children with special needs ages 4-19.  The Miracle League has spring and fall seasons and provides individualized support for each player during games through Miracle League Buddies.  Games are played at The Round Rock Express Miracle Field in northwest Austin, an accessible baseball field.
